THE British Red Cross urgently needs more volunteers for its Home from Hospital Service, which operates from the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
This free service offers practical help and emotional support to vulnerable people in the first few weeks after they have been discharged from hospital.
Volunteers may help with shopping, collecting pensions and prescriptions.
