Picture Ref: 77107-63A SIX-FOOT tall lobster has visited students at New College to spread the word about safe sex.
The Lobster of Lerve, along with a 6ft inflatable condom, were at the college as part of its Health Week.
Members of Swindon's Teenage Pregnancy Team were on hand to give out condoms and advice about sexual health.
They advised students to delay their first sexual experience if possible and to use a condom when they do decide to have sex.
Fran Birch, Swindon's teenage pregnancy co-ordinator, said: "We thought that a 6ft lobster would capture the attention of the students and focus our visit to the college to talk about sexual health and healthy relationships.
"Swindon used to have the highest rates of teenage pregnancy in the south west but that is no longer the case our rates have fallen significantly.
"However we cannot afford to be complacent and this visit to New College gives us the opportunity to talk to students about sexual health."
