MAY I say a few big thank yous on behalf of the Friends of Brimble Hill Special School.
As reported in the Advertiser last week Patsy Maloney organised a fund-raising evening in Cricklade on Friday, April 22.
The night featured raffles, auctions, music and a sponsored head and beard shave.
Although the majority of the people that supported the evening were not connected to the school, the enthusiasm of Mr Maloney and the generosity of the people who attended raised a magnificent amount of more than £2,000.
This fine effort is to be put towards a fully equipped minibus that will take the children on trips, including horse riding and swimming.
Many of our children cannot say the words thank you but I'm sure the looks on their faces when they see the new bus will say much more.
