BLUNSDON Youth Club are through to a national boys five-a-side final.
Their under 14 side will represent the southern region in the last stages of the Clubs for Young People five-a-side football competition.
The English finals are at the JJB Soccer Dome, next door to Derby County's Pride Park ground, on Saturday, May 14.
To reach the finals Blunsdon won the Wiltshire Youth Clubs Under 14 tournament that was held at Pewsey.
They saw off the challenge of another local side, Churchfields, but only after a very tight final, winning in a penalty shoot-out.
Blunsdon then progressed to the southern regional final at Bristol where they faced representatives from counties such as Hampshire (Southampton), Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Avon.
And they took the accolades beating a side from Avon in the final.
Sean Coxhead, his wife and volunteers, have run the highly successful club for the past six years at the local village hall.
