COUN Brian Ford, lead member for community safety, has congratulated Swindon's Youth Offending Team on achieving a prestigious award.
The YOT has been named the best in the country after coming first out of 156 teams for cutting youth crimes.
Coun Ford said: "I am really proud of the achievement the team has made and it shows their commitment to the people who live and work in Swindon."
