AN INTERNATIONAL police conference is being held at the De Vere Hotel in West Swindon this month.
The National Association of Police Fleet Managers' conference and exhibition is on Tuesday, August 16 and Wednesday, August 17.
As well as the conference, there will be an exhibition of police vehicles at the Science Museum in Wroughton.
The event is expected to attract delegates from Bermuda, Barbados, Cyprus, Finland, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Uganda.
NAPFM chairman Steve Botham said: "The conference provides the police service and indeed all the emergency services with an unrivalled display of the technology.
"Further close collaboration between the emergency service
fleets can produce tremendous benefits and savings for us all."
Wiltshire Constabulary has hosted the event since it started 32 years ago, and this will be the county's Chief Constable Martin Richards' first conference.
The exhibition, which has now grown into one of the largest police transport shows in Europe, has more 300 vehicles of display and more than 100 exhibitors covering all aspects of emergency service fleet management.
