Brothers Ian and Richard Hopkins say they are buoyed up by the success of the first gig at their Long Street Blues Club in Devizes.
The two local men booked Snowy White, formerly of Thin Lizzy, and his band as the first in a series of gigs by the country’s best blues combos at the Conservative Club in Long Street.
Their gamble paid off with a sell-out performance on February 6 and now they are preparing for the next gig, a visit by up-and-coming band King King.
The gig takes place on March 27 and tickets, £9 in advance, are available from Devizes Books, Devizes Conservative Club and Sound Knowledge in Marlborough.
Then, on April 30, the blues/rock band The Hamsters will appear.
