NHS organisations in the county have received mixed ratings from the Audit Commission for their financial management in 2008/9.
NHS WIltshire received a score of two out of four for use of resources.
Great Western Ambulance Service also scored two, the same as the previous year.
The Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust and the Royal United Hospital in Bath both moved up from two to three.
Charlotte Moar, NHS Wiltshire’s finance director, said: “This year’s Audit Commission assessment is further evidence that NHS Wiltshire is meeting national standards and moving forward.
“We are not complacent and know that there will be challenges to face in the future. This assessment demonstrates we are well placed to meet those challenges and to continue to improve the quality of service.”
