The teenage Devizes boy who died in a tragic accident in Broadleas Road early yesterday has been named as James Love-Smith.
James, 16, of Waylands Road, Devizes, was a year 11 student at Devizes School.
Friends and family have left flowers at the site in Broadleas Road where James died after he fell climbing a fence.
It is understood James and friends had been camping in nearby woods.
The accident happened at about 4am on Saturday. He collapsed after hitting his neck in the fall. His friends tried to revive him and called an ambulance. But James died from his injuries.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward. Tributes to James have been left on the Gazette website and on his Bebo page.
