The Duchess of Cornwall will open a new school and sports pavilion today.

Camilla will travel to Wiltshire to open the new Bellefield Church of England Primary and Nursery School in Trowbridge.

She will meet pupils in the classrooms and playground before touring the Bellefield SureStart Children's Centre which supports local families.

The centres are service hubs where children aged under five and their families can receive integrated services and information.

It provides links to childcare provision, access to family health services, a child minder link up scheme and family support and outreach activities.

After unveiling a plaque to open the school she will travel to Corsham to open Box Parish Sports, Youth and Community Pavilion.

The pavilion was rebuilt after local residents raised funds and, in addition to the pavilion and bowling green, it now offers two tennis courts, a football pitch, cricket pitch, a mini rugby pitch, a basket ball court, a BMX bike track, the Lovar Garden and Pond and two children's play areas.

The Duchess will meet representatives of local sports and community groups who use the centre and she will also view the recreational facilities.
