Police battered down the door of a suspected drug dealer in Victoria Road, Devizes, this morning.
In darkness two armed officers led the raid on the flat at 7.15am and arrested the sole occupant of the house, a 34-year-old Devizes man, who was asleep in bed.
He was arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in Devizes and taken to Melksham Police Station to be questioned.
A total of ten police officers and a sniffer dog took part in the raid. They searched the flat and an outbuilding.
No drugs were found but police seized a number of foil wraps which they suspect is connected to drug use. A baseball bat was also taken away.
The flat is owned by Sarsen Housing Association.
