Michael Simon Alcock, 27, of no fixed abode but from Bridge End, Wales, appeared before North Wiltshire magistrates today charged with raping a 71-year-old woman in Yatebury, near Calne, on December 3.
Alcock did not plead to the offence and was remained in custody to appear in Swindon Crown Court on December 19.
