A highly anticipated Advent concert will return to Edington Priory Church this December.
Organised by Edington Arts, the concert will take place on Saturday, December 5 at 7.30pm and has become a well-loved tradition in the lead-up to Christmas, drawing audiences with its festive music and welcoming atmosphere.
This year’s concert will be performed by the Chapel Choir of King’s College, London University, directed by Dr Joseph Fort.
A spokesman for Edington Arts said: "This is the first time the Advent concert has been given by a choir outside the Oxbridge bubble, but their reputation is extremely high and they have been on the organisers’ radar for some years."
The choir is made up of around 30 choral scholars from across the university and is regarded as one of the leading university choirs in the UK.
The evening will be rounded off by mulled wine, mince pies and stollen.
Tickets are on sale now and cost between £11 and £25.
Entry is free for under-18s.
Tickets can be booked online at www.edingtonarts.org or by calling 01380 831256.
