A business premises that was once home to a salon that collapsed into administration earlier this year is now to let, signs indicate.

Rejuvenesce Beauty Salon closed its premises at Hughenden Yard, just off Marlborough High Street, at the end of January.

According to a statement of affairs filed with Companies House on June 3, the company had a long list of creditors to whom it owed significant amounts of money.

According to figures in the document, Rejuvenesce’s total liabilities stood at £195,494.64, although the company’s £4,996.51 of assets offset this sum, leaving £190,623.13.

Months on from its closure, the salon has yet to be emptied, with the interior of the site seemingly remaining unaltered.

Nevertheless, a sign reading “shop to let” has been posted in the windows of the premises.

Swindon-based commercial property consultants Kilpatrick & Co are marketing the property alongside the neighbouring vacant unit, beside Funghi restaurant.

According to a list of company creditors, they included Lloyds TSB Commercial Banking, which the firm owed £33,176.56.

The firm is also shown to have owed HMRC £18,000 at the time of the collapse.

Other creditors highlighted in the filings include Vodafone Ltd for £2,392.49, and Apple Music for £10.99.

Rejuvenesce had operated in Marlborough for many years and the closure was described by shoppers as a “huge loss” for the town centre.
