A new sports centre will soon open in Swindon next month.

Padel People are set to open their 7th indoor padel court on Thursday 10th September.

It will be located at Chelworth Industrial Estate and is the first padel court to exist in Cricklade town.

The new location will feature three panoramic doubles courts and one singles court, both of which are indoors.

Memberships for the courts start at £25 per person or you can pay approximately £32-£40 per hour.

Bookings can be made via the Padel People’s website, these have been available since the 21st August.

Players are welcome to bring their own equipment or rackets and balls are also available to rent on site.

They will also be running weekly coaching sessions, which are open to all abilities.

The company is also in the process of building Oxfordshire's first indoor padel court at St Hugh’s school in Faringdon.

The opening date for the St Hugh’s location is yet to be announced, as the building work is still underway, but they estimate that the site should be open to the public from the end of the year.

Both sites planning permission took a lot longer than the expected 8 weeks as the council asked for an extension, but the company is eager for both sites to open
