Tributes have been pouring in for legendary actor Tim Curry, who has died aged 80.
Curry had various roles across stage, film, and television.
He was known for his roles in the likes of It, Clue, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
He hails from Warrington and passed away late Tuesday night (August 25) at his home in Los Angeles, according to reports.

"Police responded to his house at 11:23 PM Tuesday night," TMZ reported.
The publication added: "We're told there is no foul play suspected in the case."
At the end of last year, Curry opened up about his numerous health struggles after his stroke and also admitted he was "not scared" of dying.
Talking about his life after his stroke in 2012 - which left him unable to walk and reliant on a team of carers - during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, he said: "I don’t fear death. I try to avoid it.
"I think we all do, but I suspect that in the end, I will welcome it.
"I think it may be very comforting to go bye-bye, and I want to earn it."
Following his death, there have been several tributes shared as fans remember his iconic roles over his lengthy career.

The news of Tim Curry’s death comes a day after the world heard of the passing of country singer Dolly Parton, with many sharing that they can’t take losing any more icons.
On X, one fan said: “first dolly parton now tim curry can this week get any WORSE”.
Someone else shared: “TIM CURRY TOO???? COME ON MAN”.
Another commented: “Rest well and in peace, Tim Curry. #RIP”.
This person said: “I’m going to watch Clue today”.
Rotten Tomatoes, the platform known for film ratings, has also shared a tribute on X with a picture of Tim, saying: “Tim Curry, best known for his roles in 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show,' 'Clue,' and 'IT' has sadly passed away.
“Rest in peace.”
Actress Selma Blair commented on Tim's latest Instagram post, saying: "Rest in peace. Kind and wonderful you."
Film critic Tyler Louis said: "Pennywise was the first clown to ever scare me.
"Rest in peace you wonderful legend of a man, and thank you for giving us your amazing talents on screen for many, years. ❤️"
Curry also enjoyed a prolific voice-acting career, earning a Daytime Emmy for his role as Captain Hook in Peter Pan & the Pirates.
He also voiced Nigel Thornberry in the animated series The Wild Thornberrys.
