Passengers were left 'stranded' after an incident involving a bus on the M4 near Swindon.
On Friday, August 8, videos posted on social media platform TikTok appeared to show a green Flixbus-run coach stopped in a field with its passengers standing around the vehicle.
Posting on the platform, a user named Caphelion posted video of themselves and what appears to be a group of passengers beside a green Flixbus on the side of the M4.
A text overlay on the video reads: “POV: your Flix bus lowkey crashes on the m4 into a field off Swindon and you’ve low key been stranded over an hour.”

Another video posted by a user named sean.chapman appears to show the same Flixbus stopped in a field, with tracks left in the grass leading up to the verge. The video shows a police car stopped on the side of the road.
The comment section offers few clues about the cause of the incident, with one user posting: “My guess would be that the driver either avoided a crash with someone or that a tire ruptured/spring broke.”
