The National Garden Scheme gives visitors unique access to over 3,500 exceptional private gardens across the country to raise impressive amounts of money for nursing and health charities through admissions, teas, and cake.
This week, the focus is on Corsley House and the Preshute Lane Gardens in Manton.
Corsley House, located in Warminster, features a garden that reflects the eclectic nature of a Georgian home.
The garden includes a sculpted wave lawn and a walled garden, along with well-preserved ancient outbuildings such as a potting shed and a granary.
The garden offers views of the nearby Cley Hill.
Visitors can access the garden on Sunday, July 27, from 11 AM to 5 PM, with an admission fee of £10 for adults and free entry for children.
Refreshments will be available, with proceeds supporting the local church.
The Preshute Lane Gardens consist of three distinct gardens: Peacock Cottage, Greentrees, and The Old Post Office.
Peacock Cottage features large herbaceous beds, a rose bed, and a wildflower area.
Greentrees offers a mix of herbaceous and shrub borders, along with raised flower beds and seating areas.
The Old Post Office includes a contemporary courtyard with a raised flower bed and a private seating area.
Visitors can explore these gardens on Sunday, July 27, from 2 PM to 5 PM, with a combined admission fee of £10 for adults and free entry for children.
Tea, coffee, and cake will be available in the village hall opposite Greentrees.
