Days of “urgent” road closures to fix potholes between two Wiltshire towns will start today, with delays likely.
The A346 between Swindon and Marlborough will close from the junction with London Road to the Ridgeway junction at Chiseldon from 7pm to 6am from December 10 to 16.
The road passing through Ogbourne St Andrew is a main link between Swindon and Marlborough.

Drivers have previously been critical of the road surface on this route, labelling it a "death trap".
A diversion is possible via the A4, A4361, A4259, A346 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
A Marlborough Town Council spokesperson said: “We have just received a notice about urgent overnight road closures to A346 (part), starting 10 December for 6 nights.
“Wiltshire Council hereby give notice that on 10th December 2024, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Reactive Carriageway resurfacing, patching works, road marking, adjustment of ironworks and associated works.
“Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.”
