A new mini market looks set to open in the heart of a Wiltshire town.
Signage has been installed indicating that the Chippenham Mini Market will open at 71 Market Place, a unit that has been vacant for some time.
The town’s latest convenience store will sit in a prominent position in the town’s Market Place, near the former HSBC branch and the old Burton store.
Colourful signage has already been added to the shopfront windows advertising a range of items that may be sold, including food and drink, cleaning products, and CBD and Vape products.

At the time of writing, an opening date for the store had not been confirmed but work was ongoing inside the building to turn the vacant premises into a functioning corner shop.
The business will be the second mini market to open in the town within the last year, after another store took over the former Digiprint Nettl studio on New Road.
The shop will follow the Waverly Bar by opening in Chippenham’s Market Place this year.
With vacant units being taken over more shoppers may be using the area and town councillors spoke of the importance of creating a “safer and more pleasant” Market Place when the street was formally pedestrianised in January.
