A new Italian restaurant will open in Wiltshire after a former town centre bank was transformed.
Lloyds Bank left its Malmesbury High Street branch four years ago and earlier this year signage was installed promising an Italian eatery at the prominent building.
Since then, work has been ongoing to open Aroma, the town’s newest Italian restaurant, and the inside of the venue has been overhauled.
Management has since confirmed it will open on Sunday, September 1 and a free glass of Prosecco will be available for adults on opening night.
A spokesperson added: “Anticipation has been growing around when we are going to open.

“It has been a long wait, and we appreciate your patience, we can only imagine how eager you must be to dig into some fine Italian cuisine in Malmesbury.
“It has been a lot of hard work over the past few months to get everything tip-top and in shape ready to welcome our lovely customers.
“We are now in the final stages and completing some finishing touches to make the restaurant every bit as special as we hope you imagine it to be.
“We are so excited to welcome you all and to meet the lovely people of Malmesbury and surrounding areas.”
