The owner of an ice cream business in a converted horsebox has taken his brand up a gear with a new trike.

Feel Good Ice Cream Co. was launched by Jon Lee, 35, from Coltishall, a year ago with a summer pitch at The Red Lion, Bishopgate, and he has since been booked for various events.

He serves "real fruit" ice cream, which he was first introduced to when living in New Zealand in his twenties.

He said: "They served this type of ice cream in New Zealand and it was so fresh - I missed it when I came back to the UK.

"I have a machine that blends frozen fruits and Lakenham Creamery's Aldous vanilla ice cream to make a soft serve."

Building on the success of the horsebox, he has now converted a trike which will be based on the lower ground floor of Jarrolds in Norwich from June 7.

It will be there on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to begin with and then daily over the summer holidays.

The flavours available are chuckleberry, strawberry, raspberry and blueberry or plain vanilla.

Mr Lee added: "I am over the moon, I didn't think after a year that I would be in this position."
