Almost 100 homes in Wiltshire were left without electricity when an overhead powerline came down.
The power cut, which was reported just before 4pm on Thursday, April 25, affected 94 homes in 20 different postcode areas near Calne.
Homes near Bowden Hill, Devizes Road and Silver Street, all south of Calne, were affected.
According to Scottish and Southern Electricity Network (SSEN), this sudden power cut was caused by an overhead power line which came down in the area, although the exact location of the fallen power line was not confirmed.
The electricity company sent engineers to the site and restored power later that night.
"We're very sorry for the power cut and are aware of a fault on our main network affecting 94 homes," said a spokesperson for SSEN at the time.
"We have had reports of an overhead powerline coming down.
"When this happens, the power will automatically turn off to keep everyone safe.
"Our engineers know exactly where the problem is and are working hard to make the situation safe, repair the wire, and get the power back on."
SSEN has confirmed that these types of faults often require extensive work and specialist teams.
