A popular garden centre and a hair salon were both targeted in an overnight burglaries on the same night.

HASStyle hair salon on New Park Road in Devizes reported that items were stolen from the salon between the hours of 11pm and 12.15pm on March 31 into April 1, 2024.

"To the individual/s who broke into Hasstyle last night if you could bring back the items stolen I would be very grateful," said owner Heidi Dowell, in an official statement on behalf of the salon.

"This post won’t get me close to who it was but if by any chance anyone has any information, or have seen or heard anything in the hours of 11pm to 12.15am 31st March into 1st April please do contact myself."

A popular garden centre on Bath Road in Devizes also experienced a break-in during the same night, although it remains unclear if the two incidents are related.

"Townsends Garden Centre has had a break-in overnight. We are waiting for police to attend and will be open as soon as possible," said a spokesperson for the garden centre.

Wiltshire Police are currently investigating the spate of burglaries in the town after local businesses Caen Hill Cafe, Estcourt Vets and The Peppermill Hotel have also experienced break-ins in recent weeks.
