An operation to crackdown on retail crime took place is currently taking place in Bolton - resulting in a number of arrests.
Police have been out in force as part of a the 'Safer Business Action Day' with officers visiting local shops and retail parks.
Arrests so far include a 24-year-old man on suspicion of shoplifting after police responded to reports of a man being aggressive after being detained by staff at a store on Bolton Gate Retail Park.
A 32-year-old man was arrested in the Breightmet area for breaching a court order. He will be kept in police custody overnight and sent to Wigan & Leigh Magistrates' Court in the morning.
A 35-year-old woman in Breightmet, was apprehended by officer on suspicion of shoplifting in Breightmet, Rumworth and Westhoughton, as well as for breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).

Officers arrested a man who had ran off from officers following a burglary in Crompton. He remains in police custody for questioning.
As well as looking for people wanted in relation to retail crime, police have been offering advice to businesses.
A spokesman in GMP Bolton North Neighbourhood Team said: "Local officers have been visiting local shops around the Bolton North area today, providing crime reduction advice to the staff and security as part of the Safer Business Action (SaBA) Day.
"A number of people known to the police for shoplifting have been spoken to and deterred from committing crime.
"SaBA days are a joint approach by police, business, private security and other organisations and groups, who work in partnership to focus resources into a designated location to create a significant impact to reduce crime.
"Greater Manchester Police is committed to supporting retailers, and regularly liaise with store security and workers to discuss the needs of those stores based in Bolton."
Retail crime packs were handed out to local businesses as part of the Safer Business Action Day.
Officer say the documents not only contain useful information on crime prevention, but also detail the information the police will need should a crime need to be reported.
Bolton has a dedicated taskforce to crackdown on retail crime.
