Police are investigating “concerning” reports that an elderly man behaved inappropriately towards a young woman at a Wiltshire shopping centre.
The incident took place at the Three Horseshoes Walk shopping centre in Warminster, when the man allegedly tried to engage in “inappropriate conversation” with the woman.
Officers believe other women may have been affected or approached by this person.
They are now appealing for more those with more information to come forward.
Anyone in the area who has been made to feel uncomfortable, had sexually suggestive language used towards them, or been approached multiple times, has been urged to contact police.
The matter can be reported to police via their website.
A spokesperson for the force said: “This is a direct request to the people of Warminster.
“If you believe that you have experienced this, please reach out to us.
“We want you to feel safe and we want to investigate this concerning matter.”
