A teenager from Corsham who attacked another teen on Springfield Campus in Corsham has pleaded guilty in court.

The 17-year-old male defendant from Corsham, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, was at the community hub Springfield Campus in Corsham on October 9, 2023, when he attacked another 17-year-old boy.

The victim was kicked and punched on the community hub's field while a group of the defendant's friends watched on.

According to Wiltshire Police, the victim sustained bruising as a result of the attack.

Appearing in court five months later, the 17-year-old offender has now pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He has now been sentenced to a six-month referral order extension and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £50 compensation.
