Wiltshire Police have issued an update on a head-on crash near Devizes which closed the A360 for over an hour.

The collision took place just before 11am on Wednesday, February 28, when two cars crashed into one another at the Black Dog Crossroads, just off the A360.

Photos from the scene show a Seat Leon and a Nissan Micra were involved, and both cars appeared to have been turning at the T-junction when they collided.

The Nissan was left smashed on the opposite side of the road which caused traffic on the A360 to come to an immediate standstill.

But despite how severe the scene looked, Wiltshire Police have confirmed that no occupants of the cars were injured.

"We attended a two-vehicle collision on the A360 at the junction between Potterne and Littleton Panel," said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.

"Vehicles involved were a Seat Leon and a Nissan Micra. No injuries were reported and the road was cleared by midday."
