Three teens broke into a Lidl at around 2am and stolen food and alcohol say Wiltshire Police.

The force have arrested three teens in relation to the burglary which is said to have taken place at around 2am of this morning, Tuesday, February 13.

The three teens are two sixteen year-old boys and one fifteen year-old boy.

Police attended the Lidl store on Station Road in Warminster after the alarm was set off.

A police dog and the dog’s handler searched the building before following the sound of an alarm at a nearby building.

It is said that the team then made their way to the nearby building and heard voices, they then found two people hiding in a hedge and rucksacks containing alcohol.

A third person is then said to have been found with another rucksack containing alcohol after the police dog searched another nearby building.

The third person was allegedly found in another hedge inside a garden.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police wrote: “A 15-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to custody in Gablecross where they remain for questioning. 

“Enquiries are ongoing.

“Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54240017207.”
