A town centre pub in Wiltshire is looking for new management after the venue was put on the market.
The Brunel on New Road in Chippenham has been listed as available to rent by owners Stonegate Group.
The pub company, which operates almost 5,000 venues nationally, is looking for a new occupant to sign a fixed term tenancy agreement, with a guide rent of £423 per week plus fixtures, fittings and repairs.
A viewing day has been scheduled for March 6, from 2pm until 7pm, during which potential publicans will have the opportunity to meet Stonegate’s regional manager and discuss the opportunity in more detail.
In the meantime, the venue has remained open.
The pub was described as “a popular pub located in the heart of Chippenham.”
In a listing on their website, a Stonegate spokesperson added: “It is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere and traditional British pub decor.
“The pub provides a comfortable space for guests to relax and enjoy their time.”
Stonegate is looking for a “vibrant operator” with experience at a traditional or High Street pub.
The Brunel has a capacity of 200 covers along with a “well-equipped” kitchen and a function space.
Stonegate was contacted for comment.
