Tributes have been left at the scene of a fatal crash in Wiltshire as police continue to probe the incident.

A pedestrian, a man in his 40s from Chippenham, died after he was involved in a collision with a vehicle at the junction of Avenue La Fleche and Gladstone Road, near the town centre, on Sunday, December 17.

Officers are continuing to investigate the incident, which happened at around 5.20pm, after launching a probe on Sunday night.

Police confirmed that all people involved in the crash stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.

In the days following the man’s death, floral tributes were left at the scene of the busy junction.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers from Wiltshire Police.

Anyone who witnessed the crash has been urged to come forward.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who saw or may have dash cam footage of a white BMW or a red Vauxhall Corsa in the area at the time.
