The popular Christmas market held at a brewery just outside Marlborough is returning this year, and raising more than just spirits.

Ramsbury Bewery & Distillery, based at Stockclose Farm between Marlborough and Aldbourne, has confirmed that its Brewery will once again host a festive-filled market for all the family on Saturday, November 25.

The annual Christmas food and artisan market will run from midday to 6pm, and visitors can expect a wide variety of local businesses and stalls, along with children’s rides, a bar, food, and an opportunity to meet Santa, free of charge.

But this free-to-enter Christmas market won’t just be raising festive spirits, it will also be raising money for the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

This year, Ramsbury Brewery has partnered with local charity Brighter Futures, which raises money for new hospital equipment, supports education for staff, and improves the hospital environment for staff and patients.

50 per cent of all money from pitch fees will be donated to the cause, and the charity has also been offered a free pitch at the event so that locals can go and find out more.

In previous years, the market site has been overwhelmed with support from the local community.

“This is a part of the role we all enjoy, being able to host these events and seeing so many from the local community and sometimes much further afield enjoying some of the best Ramsbury and Wiltshire can offer,” said general manager, Nik Fordham.
