Police have returned to try and catch speeding drivers at several “areas of concern” in a Wiltshire town.
Officers from the Chippenham Neighbourhood Policing Team have been attempting to catch motorists breaking the speed limit at different locations across the town in recent weeks.
On Thursday, November 2, speed checks were carried out on the A420 Marshfield Road, near Reel Cinema, Hungerdown Lane, and in the village of Kington Langley.
These were all areas flagged to police by residents as “areas of concern” when it comes to speeding drivers.
Despite this, officers reported that all drivers monitored adhered to the speed limits.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Chippenham neighbourhoods team were out today conducting speed checks in areas of concern highlighted to us by local residents.
“We are pleased to report all drivers adhered to the speed limits.”
Elsewhere in the county, seven speeding motorists were caught by speed enforcement officers on the outskirts of nearby Malmesbury on Monday, November 6.
This came during checks at three sites in Filands where the fastest vehicle was recorded as travelling at 56mph in a 40mph zone.
