A national builders’ merchant has officially opened a new branch in a Wiltshire town.
Jewson has opened the doors of its new upgraded site at the Garden Trading Estate on London Road in Devizes.
The chain constructed the new building on the site of its previous Devizes store, which was demolished, and launched the branch with an opening event on October 30.
The upgraded site boasts a full tool hiring offering, an extended range of building products, a timber centre, and a new yard.

Tradespeople will also be able to plan and estimate projects, and create quotes for clients, with access to Jewson’s Build Aviator Service.
Solar panels have been installed on the building’s roof while LED lighting and electric car charging facilities are also planned.
Branch manager Andy Ruiz said: “Our address might be the same, but the new branch is a total transformation compared with the old site.
“It is the result of a huge investment, so we’re excited to show existing and new customers around and share some of the impressive features, products and expertise available to help them with construction projects of all types and sizes.”
The new store will be open from 7.30am until 5pm on weekdays and between 8am and noon on Saturdays.
