A sprawling Grade II listed former country house estate in Wiltshire has gone on sale for £8,000,000.

The Hartham Park Estate, a Georgian manor house just north of Corsham, is currently in use as serviced office accommodation for up to 70 units and a cafe.

But that could change as the expansive 20-hectare property has been put up for sale.

While the building has previously been utilised as a private family estate which hosted Winston Churchill on multiple occasions, a new owner could find “a variety of alternative uses” for the historic building.

Christie & Co director Ed Bellfield said: “We are excited to offer Hartham Park for sale as it is rare that a property of this magnitude comes to the open market.

“The opportunities this property provides and its location, will offer a buyer potential for a variety of alternative uses, subject to obtaining planning permission.

“The added attraction of acquiring one of only three playable ‘Sticke’ tennis courts in existence will not doubt generate interest.”

Hartham Park boasts 67,763sq feet of accommodation across various buildings including a mansion house, coach house and stables, and modern offices.

The estate is being sold by hotel property advisor Christie & Co, on behalf of administrators Kroll Advisory Ltd, and is expected to fetch a price in the region of £8,000,000.
