Wiltshire will see plenty of spring sunshine and warm weather this weekend.

The latest Met Office forecast suggest that the coming days could be a good time to enjoy the great outdoors as we get a step closer to the summer.

First, Friday will be fairly cloudy throughout the day, with a temperature range of eight to 17 degrees Celsius, and a slight chance of light showers between 3pm and 6pm.

On Saturday, temperatures will vary between six to 17C, with some cloud cover that should clear completely for a while between 10am and 1pm, and around 7pm.

More sunshine is expected for most of Sunday morning and part of the afternoon, with temperatures hovering between seven and 18C, and very little chance of there being any rain.

The good weather should continue into next week, with clear skies forecast for most of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as temperatures stay a stable range of around seven to 19C.

Pollen levels are expected to be low, but UV levels will be high, so keep some sun cream handy.

A Met Office spokesman said: "Plenty of fine weather during this period. Chilly nights with patchy mist in places, but feeling warm in the sunshine."
