A WOMAN in her 60s was airlifted to hospital after a five-car crash which saw one car land on its roof.
The crash happened on the A303 on the eastbound carriageway near Winterbourne Stoke at about 5pm yesterday (December 28).
Wiltshire Police said: "Four cars were involved, with one coming to rest on its roof and another leaving the road.
"A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital by air ambulance to be treated for her injuries, which were not thought to be life threatening.
"Five other people were treated for minor injuries."
There were no arrests and the road was cleared shortly after 9pm.
