Police, ambulance and fire crews are all in attendance after a crash on the A4 at Derry Hill.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) have confirmed that emergency services were called to the scene of a road traffic collision between two cars on the evening of Wednesday, December 21.
Fire crews from Chippenham and Calne both arrived at the scene at around 7.23pm alongside the police and ambulance services.
Taking to Twitter DWFRS said: “Chippenham Fire Station and Calne Fire Station are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on the A4 at Derry Hill. Police and ambulance are also in attendance.”
The crash partially blocked the road causing heavy traffic both ways along the A4 between the junction of the A4 and A342, near Pewsham, and Studley Lane.
The AA are reporting that the road has now been closed from the A342 to Studley Lane.
