THIS year's Rowdeford Garden Fair, on Sunday May 18, has something for everyone.

With more plant stalls than ever before, the event will spread out beyond the Victorian walled garden and into the west lawn beyond.

There will be a bar, with music from the popular jazz band Four Plus One, while magician Jack Stephens entertains the youngsters.

The café will once again showcase the offerings of Bromham WI and, in addition to the wide range of specialist plant stalls, there will be antiques on sale.

A garden clinic will offer advice from such local experts as Robin Williams, John Phillips, Simon Taylor, Richard Cripps and Charles Le Strange.

The clinic is free as part of the entry price of £3. Children 16 and under are admitted free but dogs are not allowed.

The fair is raising money for the new arts therapy centre at Rowdeford Special School. It is open from 11am to 3pm, with a private view from 10am to advance ticket holders. These priority entry tickets can be obtained by ringing (01249) 814979.
