Police are appealing to the public to help identify a man they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary at a home in Bulford earlier this month.
Officers from Amesbury are investigating the burglary which occurred at a house in Bulford, overnight on Saturday, 5th April. A ladies handbag, containing among other things several bank cards, was taken from the kitchen of the house during the burglary.
After careful investigation police discovered that several attempts were made to withdraw cash from the victim's accounts on the day of the Burglary.
The attempts were made at cash machines at the Murco Garage, and Somerfield's Filling Station, Bulford.
PC Darren Penny said: "I would urge people to take a good look at this man's picture and I would appeal to anyone who recognises him to contact me at Amesbury Police station on 0845 408 7000. If anyone would prefer to leave information anonymously they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
