Echo Beach star Jason Donovan, reality TV duo Same Difference and an Abba tribute band are the first among the first few acts confirmed for this year's Crimestoppers event.
The annual family fun-day, to be held at Bowood House and Gardens on August 31, will also see one of the first performances by the newly reformed Blazing Squad and the 1990s pop star and Grease Is The Word runner-up, Kavanagh.
Brightly-coloured tribute band the Scissor Sisterz will also return to the event, two years after Crimestoppers 2006 played host to their first ever gig and propelled them to worldwide stardom and even recognition by the actual Scissor Sisters.
A spokesman for Crimestoppers said: "We don't usually ask the same acts back as there's so much talent out there but the Scissor Sisterz went down so well we were inundated with requests to see them again. There's some great bands and we are looking forward to another fantastic weekend."
