ONE of the UK’s largest gym operators is on the verge of opening two new outlets in Chippenham and Trowbridge.
PureGym is bringing its popular gyms to the former Bathstore site on the Hathaway Retail Park in Chippenham and the former Knees Home and Electrical store on the Spitfire Retail Park in Trowbridge.
The new outlets in Chippenham and Trowbridge will be PureGym’s 314th and 315th gyms in the UK.
The company already has gyms in nearby Bath, Bristol, Brislington, Swindon and Stratton St Margaret.
The new facility for the people of Chippenham and surrounding communities will create around 12 jobs in the thriving fitness sector.
PureGym Chippenham will be located in the former Bathstore site next to B&M and Dreams and will open at 12pm on August 31.
The company says its new Trowbridge gym on the Spitfire Retail Park on the Bradley Road will be “opening soon”.
The gyms will be open 24/7.
The Chippenham gym is spread across 11,500 square feet and will cater for everyone’s fitness needs with 220-plus pieces of state-of-the-art equipment in a fully air-conditioned space.
It will also have a functional zone, cardio equipment, free weights, fixed resistance machines and a fitness studio.
Members will be able to access a huge range of classes, all included within the membership price, with certified personal trainers available. The company is offering free parking and Wi-Fi.
