Wiltshire is facing its second extreme heatwave of the year, and is set to hit temperatures as high as 33° today.
Yesterday, it was reported that Wiltshire firefighters were called out to 180 wildfires in the space of 10 days, from August 1- 10.

People have been voicing their frustrations with the state of the climate, which the Met Office has said is interlinked with the high levels of heat that are being felt around the country.
Fields have dried up all over the county, and it has not gone unnoticed by people living here, or passing through.
A historian and Geographer took a snapshot of the countryside in the county yesterday morning while travelling via rail, drawing attention to his concerns.

Some people argued that the dried up grass is a result of the harvest, but resident Zoe Alderham got involved in the discussion to put her view across.
Um, I live here. In Wiltshire. Have done for 50 years. I don't need to look at Google to know what a harvested field looks like. And even after harvest, it does not usually look this desiccated. Not just the fields, but the verges, the dried up stream beds, the commons.

Another Twitter user expressed their frustrations, stating what they think needs to be done about climate change.
Wheat fields and Wiltshire on fire again. @Conservatives rather than unfunded tax give aways do some thing useful and invest in tackling climate change. Debt to 'bost consumer spending' is insane when your food supply is at systemic long term risk. @JohnGlenUK @JGray @AWMurrison pic.twitter.com/wvzkWr5urD

Someone else drew attention to the poor grass quality of fields in the county right now- sharing a photo of some parched hills.

Have you noticed the fields looking a little browner than usual?
