It might be time to get excited about autumn in Devizes, as the annual Food and Drink Festival tickets are about to go on sale.

People can book to attend the nine-day event from August 12, ahead of it taking place on September 24 - October 2.

Festival goers can sample street food and attend an artisan producer market, as well as enjoy a ‘moveable feast’ at a dinner in the prestigious home of Winkworth Estate Agents.

There will be plenty of other things happening of the course of the event, giving people the chance to taste foods from around the world, and in lots of different settings as well as experience a visit to beehives and get advice from local beekeepers.

Cooking expert Felicity Cloake will also be attending, where there will be a chance to have brunch with her.

Organiser Jenny Groom said: “The festival has become a welcome fixture in the town’s event calendar.

“We will be using a variety of venues and we believe that what we have organised will be attractive to a wide range of age-groups and interests.”
