MODEL steam trains will be chuffing round the garden at Casper Cottage when it opens for the public to visit later this month.
The 1.5 acre plot near Mere features an art studio as well as the O gauge railway, an orchard with a wildlife pond and a secret garden with a formal pond.
Different seating areas, a pergola with a herb terrace and views of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside offer an added bonus.
It is open between 11am and 5pm on August 21. Admission costs £5 for adults and children go free. Visit the cottage's page on the ngs.org.uk website to book tickets and finds out more, or turn up and pay on the day.
