Two helpless puppies who were found abandoned in the Corsham area on the hottest day of the year have now been safely rehomed.
The spaniel-type puppies named Duck and Goose have completed their time with the rescue charity Bath Cats and Dogs Home and are now ready to start a fresh life elsewhere.
Wiltshire Council’s Public Protection Service has thanked their followers for the support given in finding them a loving new owner.
A spokesperson for the service said: “We would like to thank all our followers for their help in sharing the original post and spreading their heart-breaking story far and wide.
“These two beautiful pups now have new homes to go to but there are many more animals looking for that forever home, if you think you can offer one a new life please contact Bath Cats and Dogs Home for more information on how to do this.”
