RESCUE ponies and donkeys are among the attractions at Charlton Down House, which opens to the public under the National Garden Scheme in August.
The 180-acre equestrian estate just over the county border near Tetbury, is the home of Neil and Julie Record, whose three-day event horses enjoy a view of a rose garden from their stables.
On August 4, 18 and 25 visitors will be able to enjoy features including an enclosed cut flower garden, formal terraces, a walled topiary garden and a newly planted copse.
Admission between 1pm and 5pm is £6 for adults. Children go free. Visit ngs.org.uk for details.
