There have been some ‘high-value’ shoplifting incidents in Marlborough’s Tesco recently- prompting Wiltshire Police to launch a CCTV appeal.
The first happened on June 28 and the second on July 5.
Officers have investigated the incidents and have released CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.
Both thefts occurred at the Tesco in Salisbury Road, and on both occasions a large amount of alcohol was stolen.
The man pictured is believed to have been a passenger in a grey Seat Leon, with a CF number plate.
To support officers with the investigation, anyone who recognises the man in the picture can contact PC Lydia Davis and quote crime reference 54220067793.
