THE man who was arrested after an assault in Devizes over the weekend has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Salisbury Crown Court on August 5.
Darren John Fell, 39, of Hewitt Court, New Park Street, Devizes, was arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.
A man, in his 40s, is currently in the Great Western Hospital, Swindon, as a result of the assualt - his condition is described as ‘life threatening’.
Wiltshire Police said "We would continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the assault, which we believe occurred in the area of Hewitt Court, New Park Street to get in touch if they have not already done so.
"This includes anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam footage which could have captured footage relevant to our investigation.
