WILTSHIRE’S only motor museum is celebrating its 19th year this weekend with a chance to win a classic Mk1 Mazda MX5 for just £1.

The hugely popular Atwell Wilson Motor Museum will be holding its annual show and road run in Stockley Lane, Calne.

The road run, which usually attracts more than 50 vehicles, will start from the Museum at 3pm on Saturday (July 9) and then wind its way around the local Wiltshire countryside.

On Sunday (July 10) well over 400 classic vehicles and their proud owners will gather in the Museum’s extensive grounds overlooking the North Wessex Downs to enjoy all that the day has to offer.

Alan Hall, one of the Atwell Wilson Museum volunteers, said: “If you fancy a great day out in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, we would be delighted to see you."

The attractions will include various trade stands, an autojumble, the tearoom and, of course, the Museum itself and its new extension.

Plus, visitors are being given the opportunity to win a lovely red 1993 Mk1 MX5, tickets for which are a mere £1, with the draw taking place on the day.

General admission on show day is £9 for adults, £1 for children from 5-15, with the under-fives free. This includes all-day parking and museum entry.
